Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in an Acute Respiratory unit, requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in an Acute Respiratory ICU within a hospital setting
- Adult critical care patient population with a focus on acute respiratory cases
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Strict policies on requested time off: maximum 5 days if not near holidays, maximum 3 days if near a holiday
- Only one holiday off request is allowed per assignment
- Returning travelers must comply with separation requirements
- Travelers are not allowed to submit for multiple positions at once
- Active Georgia or compact state RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience required
- Former staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year and 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed)
