Surgical Tech – Atlanta, GA (Mindlance Health)
Pay: $2,072 per week

Shift: 3 days x 12 hours (06:30 – 19:00) – Days only
Contract Duration: 18 weeks

• Unit:
  Included in call requirements.
• CALL: 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4ish weeks. Subject to change based on departmental needs.
• FLOAT:
  Within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed.
• Attend all scheduled surgical procedures.
• Assist with instrument preparation, case setup, and patient care during surgery.
• Maintain aseptic technique and support team in a good practice environment.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Vein stripping, Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, Cardiothoracic robotic surgery, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery)
• Lung resection – Thoracotomy, Heart, Care of scopes & fiber optic equipment, Crash Cart, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Aseptic Technique, Instrument Processing, Sterilization/Disinfection, Case Cart, Assembly/Wrap, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing, airway management

• RTO:
  Maximum 7 days.
• Holiday Policy:
  If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period, travelers must work the holiday(s). No holiday RTO can be requested. If three major holidays occur, travelers must be available to work two of the holidays.
• Major Holidays:
  Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as
  1), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as
  1), New Years Eve/New Years Day (counts as
  1).
• Compliance:
  Full compliance required to start on time; lack of compliance pushes back by 2 weeks due to bi‑weekly orientation schedule.
• Locals accepted – same rate.
• Pre‑Application Fee: $125 for CVOR First Assistant, OR Tech First Assistant, and RNFA.
• Required Pre-Application:
  Candidates must submit core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on‑time start.
