Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong vascular experience and prior travel history in a large level 1 trauma facility.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting,

• 10-hour day shifts, four days per week (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM),

• No on-call responsibility,

• No block scheduling,

• Care for surgical and trauma patients, including vascular and endovascular cases,

• Work in a large level 1 trauma environment,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Significant prior travel nursing experience in large level 1 trauma centers required,

• Strong vascular and endovascular operative experience required,

• High ratings across all areas on the skills checklist,

• Recent (within last 2 years) references from supervisory clinical roles,

• EMR experience relevant to the OR setting,

• Current nursing certifications as required for the specialty,

• Holiday and weekend work may be required as scheduled,

• Complete orientation to surgical and trauma protocols provided,

• Team-based care environment with collaboration among surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff,

• Must demonstrate experience and competency with a wide range of OR procedures and equipment,
