Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma unit on night shifts, requiring recent specialty experience and a valid GA or compact license.

Job Details

• Work in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit within a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic, and paraplegic patients,

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week,

• Use of Epic EMR is required,

• No block scheduling available,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Med/Surg Surgery Trauma specialty,

• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred,

• Demonstrated Epic EMR experience,

• References from supervisors or managers in similar settings within the last 2 years,

• Complete resume with detailed work history and no employment gaps over 60 days,

• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to trauma and surgical patients with complex needs,

• No on-call requirements,

• No time off (RTO) is allowed during the contract,
