Registered Nurse - High Acuity Surgery Trauma Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts on a 12x3 rotation with no block schedules.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work on a high acuity floor specializing in surgery trauma, caring for patients with spinal and neuro trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. The role demands a high level of skill and experience, along with the ability to handle potentially stressful situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty of surgery trauma.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Must have experience with the EPIC documentation system.
• Documentation must include a resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, and a valid nursing license verification through Nursys.
