Clinical Staff Manager - NICU - FT Nights
SUMMARY
The Clinical Staff Manager (CSM) is a direct supervisory leader and an essential member of the nursing leadership team. This role oversees a designated cohort of the unit’s staff, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality patient care during each assigned shift. The CSM partners in overall unit management, clinical practice development, and operational excellence, with accountability for people development, leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance, throughput, and scheduling.
The CSM is responsible for engaging in proactive problem-solving for staff, patients, and families, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Grady’s values. Through regular feedback, coaching, and recognition, the CSM supports professional growth and team success.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required;
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience; clinical leadership experience preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of NICU experience
- Additional two (2) years of leadership experience in a NICU setting
- NRP preferred
