Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting a PRN Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join an APP‑driven team. The position requires both inpatient and outpatient management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and is a 10‑hour shift PRN role as needed, including days and weekends. Shifts may be available at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Piedmont Newnan Hospital and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

• Performs high‑quality patient assessment and management under physician supervision in accordance with federal and state regulations, practicing evidence‑based medicine.
• Participates in daily inpatient rounds with Electrophysiologists.
• Manages direct patient care on inpatient service including rounding, admissions, consultations and discharges.
• Manages direct patient care on designated outpatient clinics.
• Orders and schedules diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered.
• Works minimum of one day and one weekend shift every six weeks.
• Demonstrates teamwork by communicating effectively and working cooperatively with all members of the health care team.
• Displays respect and fosters an appreciation towards all members of the PHI team.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
• Board Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Holds current license from the Georgia State Composite Board.
• BLS/ACLS certified.
• Ideal candidate has at least 1–2 years of experience managing Cardiology and/or Electrophysiology patients.
