Job Description: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse operates within organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Responsibilities include maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within organizational policies.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty (if applicable) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in hospital setting preferred.
