Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology - Chemo Certified

American Traveler is hiring a Chemo Certified RN for an outpatient infusion unit with a GA or compact RN license and ONS/ONCC certification required.

Job Details

• Position is in an outpatient chemo infusion unit,

• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,

• No weekends or on-call required,

• May float within the facility and rarely to PWIC as needed,

• No blocked scheduling is allowed,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required,

• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience,

• Unit accepts first-time travelers,

• Two supervisory references from current or recent managers are required,

Additional Information

• Infuse chemotherapy medications in an outpatient infusion setting,

• Candidates must be able to work major holidays based on the number that fall within their assignment period,

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off, with none permitted during the first week,

• Full compliance required before the start date, including orientation schedules,

• Cannot return as a traveler unless away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year,

• Returning travelers must complete a successful assignment outside of Piedmont if previously deemed ineligible,

• Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift and unit,
