As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives. We are seeking experienced PRN OR/PACU RN to join our team in our new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Sandy Springs, GA. The position is per diem, with variable days and hours.

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2-3 years clinical experience in Operating Room or PACU strongly preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
