Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Mental Health to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication management and therapy
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health disorders and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
• Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a mental health setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
