Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to during routine clinic visits
- Follow diagnostic and treatment plans
- Administer injectable and intravenous medications
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Phlebotomy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- IV line placement and medication infusions
This is a small and growing infectious diseases practice located in southwest Atlanta. We treat various infections, including HIV/ AIDS; diabetic wound infections; hepatitis B; hepatitis C; and STIs. This position is ideal for someone who desires autonomy and the freedom to develop protocols and initiatives. Team includes an MD, Pharm
D, SWer, and CMA.
