Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma Med/Surg night shift position requiring Epic proficiency and a GA or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit within a hospital,

• Patient population includes spinal, neuro, trauma, surgical, gunshot injuries, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases,

• Night shift with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Block scheduling is not available,

• Epic EMR is required for this role,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license,

• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred,

• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience in a relevant specialty,

• Proficiency using Epic EMR,

• References from similar specialty experience within the last 2 years from supervisors or managers,

Additional Information

• No RTO (requested time off) is allowed during the contract,

• Care for complex trauma and post-surgical patients in a high-intensity environment,

• Must be willing to work assigned shifts without block scheduling,

• Resume should reflect detailed work history with no unexplained employment gaps,
