Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma unit, requiring EPIC experience and a GA or compact license.

Job Details

• Work on a high-acuity Surgery Trauma floor within a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes spinal, neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients,

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, scheduled 3 shifts per week,

• Block schedules are not available; must be flexible to work assigned shifts,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Uses EPIC EMR system and experience is required,

Job Requirements

• Active GA RN or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred,

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical-Surgical Surgery Trauma nursing,

• Proficiency in EPIC EMR required,

• No requests for time off (RTO) permitted during the contract,

Additional Information

• Care for trauma, surgical, neuro, spinal, and high-acuity patients including those with complex injuries,

• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment,

• Adherence to department policies including flexibility with scheduling,

• Hospital does not allow requests for time off during contract period,

• Standard hospital attire required,
