Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma Med/Surg night shift position requiring Epic proficiency and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit within a hospital
- Patient population includes spinal, neuro, trauma, surgical, gunshot injuries, quadriplegic, and paraplegic cases
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling is not available
- Epic EMR is required for this role
- No RTO (requested time off) is allowed during the contract
- Care for complex trauma and post-surgical patients in a high-intensity environment
- Must be willing to work assigned shifts without block scheduling
- Resume should reflect detailed work history with no unexplained employment gaps
- Active GA or compact RN license
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience in a relevant specialty
- Proficiency using Epic EMR
- References from similar specialty experience within the last 2 years from supervisors or managers
