Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the ICU within the emergency services department of a hospital
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- 13-week assignment
- No on-call requirements
- Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to ICU patients in an emergency services setting
- Requests for time off are limited: maximum of 5 days if not during holidays, 3 days if around holidays, and only 1 holiday request is permitted
- Time off during the holidays must be spread out, several days in a row will not be approved
- Active RN license from GA or a compact state in hand
- Minimum 18 months of recent full-time ICU nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Former permanent staff at the health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, an 18-month separation is required
