Job SummaryCrestview Health and Rehabilitation Center:
The Supervisor under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, is responsible for providing age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintaining a safe environment, educating patients and their families, collecting information, communicating effectively, and utilizing technology. The Supervisor participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care services and tasks. The role of the Supervisor also includes patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and supervision of unlicensed personnel.
The Nurse Supervisor assures provision of total nursing care, directly or indirectly, during a given period of time for the nursing department. The Supervisor is also responsible for the direction and supervision of the nursing staff.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Current Georgia License as a Practical Nurse required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Card required.
- Previous Long Term Care Experience Strongly Preferred
