Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma unit, requiring EPIC experience and a GA or compact license.

• Work on a high-acuity Surgery Trauma floor within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes spinal, neuro trauma, surgical cases, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic patients
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, scheduled 3 shifts per week
• Block schedules are not available; must be flexible to work assigned shifts
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses EPIC EMR system and experience is required
• Care for trauma, surgical, neuro, spinal, and high-acuity patients including those with complex injuries
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment
• Adherence to department policies including flexibility with scheduling
• Hospital does not allow requests for time off during contract period
• Standard hospital attire required

• Active GA RN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Medical-Surgical Surgery Trauma nursing
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR required
• No requests for time off (RTO) permitted during the contract
