Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuroscience ICU position, requiring strong neuro ICU or IMCU experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and intermediate care/stepdown unit in a hospital setting
- Primary patient population includes neuro critical care and stepdown patients
- Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and three shifts per week
- Floating between ICU and stepdown unit is likely
- No on-call requirements
- Responsibilities include providing specialized care to critically ill neurological and stepdown patients
- Must provide a skills checklist relevant to neuro ICU or IMCU
- Night shift assignment only
- Must supply current certification cards and Nursys license verification
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU or IMCU required
- BLS and relevant specialty certifications required
- Recent work history in specialty with up-to-date references from supervisors or managers
- Strong neuro intensive care experience must be demonstrated on resume
- EMR experience required
