Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Hematology-Oncology night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Work in a hospital-based Hematology-Oncology Med/Surg unit
• Patient population includes oncology, step down, and sickle cell cases
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Chemo certification is preferred but not required
• Duties include providing nursing care to oncology, step down, and sickle cell patients
• No RTO (requested time off) permitted during the contract
• Up-to-date skills checklist and certification cards required for consideration
• Experience with major hospital EMRs should be specified on resume

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical/surgical or hematology-oncology in a comparable setting
• Chemo certification preferred
• Recent experience with patient populations including oncology and sickle cell
• Resume must show no gaps greater than 60 days
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to provide two supervisory references from the past two years relevant to the specialty
