The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit‑based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24‑hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

• Supervise nursing operations and staff performance.
• Assume 24‑hour nursing leadership when Manager or Director is absent.
• Coordinate care for the unit’s specific patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical area with at least 1 year in the acute general medicine specialty.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with 2 years of clinical experience, 1 year in specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual acuity meeting unit requirements.

• Additional life‑support credentials such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or other clinical specialty certifications.
