Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment requiring a GA or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes those with pulmonary and thoracic conditions,

• Day shift position with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm), three shifts per week,

• 13-week contract assignment,

• No on-call is required,

Job Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in progressive care or similar specialty,

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required and must be current,

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility,

• Return travelers who were previously permanent staff must have a 2-year break before consideration,

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with pulmonary and thoracic diagnoses,

• Holiday coverage expectations may apply based on unit needs,

• All required credentials and documentation must be completed prior to start,

• Requests for time off must be submitted before offer,

• Scrub attire requirements will be provided prior to assignment start,
