Overview
Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (RN) - $55.89/hr | 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) focused on cardiac population.
Location:
Atlanta, GA.
- Provide patient care in a 28-bed Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) focused on cardiac population
- Care for patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery (CTS), and chest pain (C/P)
- Administer and monitor cardiac drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4
- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for patients with lower acuity levels
- Maintain compliance with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Must have at least 2 years of documented PCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Strong coronary care knowledge and ability to work in a high-acuity environment
- Current Nursing Licensure and appropriate certifications (BLS, ACLS)
