RN Supervisor, Acute General and Bariatric Surgery Unit

Northside Hospital is a leading healthcare organization in Atlanta. We are seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the Acute General and Bariatric Surgery Unit.

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Oversees nursing operations, provides guidance to staff, and ensures high quality patient care. Assumes 24‑hour responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Director. Works with a unit‑specific patient population.

• Supervise nursing operations of the unit.
• Provide nursing leadership and staff support.
• Assume 24‑hour responsibility when Manager or Director absent.
• Coordinate unit‑specific patient care patient population.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  
  Three (3) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
• Two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
