The OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced, dynamic ministry leader to develop a substantive, intergenerational program that creates disciples and nurtures authentic relationships with Christ. The goal of this position is to establish sustainable programs with theological depth that equip young people and families to live out their faith in meaningful ways.
Your ImpactAs Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministry, you will:
- Design and implement comprehensive spiritual formation programs for all ages (birth through Grade 12)
- Build and equip volunteer teams that extend your ministry's reach
- Create innovative outreach initiatives that connect with Midtown's diverse communities
- Develop programs that bridge generational gaps and foster whole-church discipleship
- Collaborate with church leadership to integrate children, youth and family ministry throughout church life
- Provide compassionate pastoral care to children, youth, and families in times of need
- Minimum 5 years of ministry experience with demonstrated success in program development
- Proven ability to engage with diverse communities and adapt ministry to changing contexts
- Experience building and mentoring volunteer teams
- Strong commitment to substantive theological education and discipleship
- Passion for community outreach and building relationships beyond church walls
