Overview

National Christian Foundation (NCF) Georgia seeks a Relationship Manager for the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The role focuses on outside sales, relationship management, business development, marketing/channel development, financial planning, law, or accounting to serve givers and advisors, helping families plan generous stewardship and kingdom impact. The position is hybrid and based out of Alpharetta, GA, with approximately 20% in-office work and 80% external engagement (meeting with givers, advisors, etc.).

Responsibilities
  • Giver Engagement (40%):
    Proactively reach out to new and existing givers to build relationships, increase awareness, connect them into the larger community, and explore new ways to serve; influence and instill trust; motivate and inspire givers to develop a giving strategy for future generosity and succession planning; counsel and co-develop, with givers, a giving plan that builds in accountability and progression on their giving journey.
  • Prospect Development (25%):
    Cultivate relationships with prospective givers; garner referrals from advisory board members, existing givers, and professional advisors; network with community partners, ministries, organizations, and councils.
  • Channel Development (30%):
    Develop strategic relationships with targeted advisers (financial planners, accountants, attorneys) and ministries; reach and influence organizations with a constituency that desires to increase their capacity for giving and kingdom impact.
  • Strategic Planning (5%):
    Collaborate with the NCF Georgia team to develop innovative approaches to help families unite multiple generations around biblical generosity and determine growth priorities for the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
  • Personal, Spiritual, and Professional Development:
    Demonstrate commitment to personal, spiritual, and professional maturity through prayer, Scripture study, ongoing learning, and participating in professional networks and societies.
  • Building Christian Community Through Biblical Principles:
    Integrate biblical principles in day-to-day behavior, maintain integrity, model faithfulness, pray for employees, givers, and charities, and participate in NCF Devotions and community events.

Qualifications

Reports to: NCF Georgia President
Management/Supervision: None

Education
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred (MBA, JD, CFA, CKA, CFP, CPA, CAP, CTFA).

Experience
Three to five years’ experience in outside sales, relationship management, business development, financial planning or wealth management, or related fields. Involvement with Kingdom Advisors, C12, Convene, or other Christian leadership forums is a plus. Prior experience serving high net worth individuals and families is preferred. Knowledge of the Atlanta market is preferred. Basic understanding of personal tax rules and familiarity with basic business financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) is helpful.

Knowledge Base
Real-time problem diagnosis, knowledge of charitable/non-profit/donor-related topics, marketing and social media familiarity, ability to work independently, familiarity with SharePoint/Share File, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Work Environment
Position reports to the NCF Georgia President. 20% office and 80% external travel, primarily throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. 40 hours per week with potential extra hours during peak periods.
