- Manage deadline‑driven proposal development process from beginning to end—including setting and leading meetings, working with business development leads, project managers, and technical staff, under guidance from the area marketing manager
- Provide message development for proposals—conceptualizing, researching, and producing content, including graphic development
- Create layout and ultimate document design of proposals and other marketing collateral, utilizing existing templates and brand standards
- Write non‑technical copy, and edit, proofread, and shape copy provided by technical staff
- Support other marketing efforts by coordinating business strategies, participating in client development, preparing presentations, tracking pursuits and client requests, and generating reports
- Maintain accurate project and resume data in business development systems
- Maintain marketing intranet, collaboration, and file repository sites
- Responsible for maintaining quality control standards for proposal and marketing components
- Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in‑person
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communications
- A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated "self‑starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight
- Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including In Design
