General Summary of DutiesUnited Digestive’s Director of Marketing Strategy & Customer Engagement is responsible for setting the creative direction of the brand, overseeing all internal and external communications, and leading the Marketing Support Center that serves as a strategic partner to internal departments. The ideal candidate blends creativity with analytical rigor and has deep experience in both digital marketing and account-based strategies.

Responsibilities Brand & Creative Direction- Own and evolve the brand identity, voice, and positioning across all touchpoints.
- Lead concept development for creative campaigns, patient education materials, and brand storytelling efforts.
- Ensure brand consistency across internal initiatives, patient experiences, and market-facing assets.
- Develop and optimize digital marketing campaigns to drive patient acquisition and service line growth.
- Oversee paid media strategy, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Use data to continuously test, refine, and scale campaigns based on performance.
- Design and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to engage referring physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Partner with field teams to identify target segments and develop tailored content that drives referrals and builds brand trust.
- Lead all internal communications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering employee engagement.
- Oversee the Marketing Support Center, serving as a responsive partner to HR, operations, and clinical departments.
- Provide strategic marketing counsel and execution support to cross-functional teams.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of marketers, designers, and writers.
- Partner closely with clinical, IT, operations, and business development teams to align marketing with enterprise priorities.
- Report on KPIs to executive leadership, ensuring visibility into marketing ROI and growth impact.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including brand management, digital strategy, and communications.
- Proven track record in patient acquisition, preferably in healthcare or service industries.
- Experience with ABM platforms, CRM systems, and performance analytics tools.
- Strong creative sensibility with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Growth in new patient volume and referral traffic.
- Elevated brand recognition and reputation across digital and physical channels.
- Increased internal alignment and satisfaction through strategic marketing support.
- Strong cross-functional relationships that accelerate enterprise-wide initiatives.
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment; travel as business needs require.
