Oldcastle APG, a leading provider of outdoor living solutions in North America, is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to oversee our Pro Dealer Channel go-to-market strategy for our entire portfolio of brands. In this role, you will connect insights and opportunities generated by Brand Marketing to build results-driven programs that generate revenue, support sales teams and grow our customers into loyal partners.

APG’s Channel Marketing team serves as the bridge between sales and marketing. While experience in the building products space is not required, the ability to operate cross-functionally, identify key strategic priorities and balance competing priorities from sales, marketing, product and leadership is crucial for success.

Job Location This is an onsite role in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Initiative Development
    • Own strategic account planning for the Pro Dealer vertical, building programs to drive consideration, conversion and education in partnership with Brand Marketing and sales leadership.
    • Oversee the design, execution and maintenance of channel marketing plans including co-op programs, advertising, selling tools, training, samples and displays.
    • Effectively manage channel budgets to achieve brand-level KPIs, with a focus on increasing revenue.
  • Channel and Product Expertise
    • Develop expertise in the Pro Dealer channel to ensure customers are kept at the center of how APG brands are positioned, merchandised and sold.
    • Continuously explore industry best practices to maximize creativity, inform our team and drive results.
    • Build expertise across APG’s product categories to establish trust and ensure our brands are marketed effectively within the Pro Dealer channel.
    • Present strategy and initiatives to senior leadership – internal to APG and external to Retail partners.
  • Sales Team Support
    • Develop a deep integration with Pro Dealer leadership to understand – and achieve – sales goals for multiple APG brands simultaneously.
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that APG delivers a best-in-class brand experience at every stage of the buying cycle, online and in-store.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration
    • Partner with Brand Marketing to ensure strategies align with overall Pro channel strategy, including messaging, positioning, branding, merchandising, online presence and customer experience.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders in brand management, CRM, sales and others to ensure alignment with Pro Channel best practices and revenue goals.
    • Promote teamwork, show initiative and influence with stakeholders to successfully execute Pro Channel marketing initiatives in a crowded landscape.
    • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships with key Pro Dealer contacts, vendors, and third-party agencies.
  • Performance Analysis
    • Develop comprehensive measurement tools to evaluate program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes as required.
Job Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, branding, product strategy, sales enablement or other strategic marketing roles.
    • Agency experience and/or experience in the building & construction industry is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree – or equivalent experience – in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Analytical problem solver with experience in analyzing business cases and developing go-to-market strategies in the building products industry.
