Marketing Associate role at Balentine
Balentine is seeking a Marketing Associate to support the Marketing Team as the day-to-day execution engine for the department. They publish content across digital channels, manage email campaigns, update the website, create basic graphics, support department processes, and manage logistics and communications for client events, in partnership with the team. They own and lead the execution of the Internal Comms calendar, partnering with HR and receiving oversight from the Director.
ResponsibilitiesDigital & Content Execution
- Publish and maintain content across Balentine’s website, social media, email, and Hub Spot landing pages.
- Create basic graphics and templates using Canva or Adobe tools.
- Assist with capturing social video onsite in Atlanta, and small-scale video edits or social-friendly cuts.
- Format, proof, and prepare newsletters, event pages, and thought leadership for distribution.
- Manage list segmentation and contact updates in Hub Spot and Salesforce.
- Run reports and assist with basic analytics tracking.
- Support the setup of automated workflows and nurture streams.
- Own the internal comms calendar; prepare and distribute internal communications across both offices as established in the marketing strategy.
- Submit content for compliance review and manage approval timelines.
- Help Compliance maintain an archive of approved materials and disclosures.
- Build event registration pages, invitations, and pre- and post-event communications under the direction of the Director.
- Support list management, reminders, and follow-up communications.
- Coordinate logistics with internal events or administrative teams in Atlanta and Raleigh, where appropriate.
- Capture content (photos, quotes, takeaways) in Atlanta for post-event social or recaps.
- Help execute events for employees and clients.
- Maintain marketing calendar and assist Director with meeting agendas, project trackers, and vendor coordination.
- Provide QA for materials before publication.
- Support special projects across markets (Atlanta + Raleigh).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of marketing or communications experience (agency or financial services a plus).
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Comfortable with Hub Spot, Webflow, Canva, and Linked In as a social platform.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Proactive and eager to learn higher-level strategy over time.
