    Job Summary

    The Electrical Integrator L1 will provide technical support to program managers, project directors, task leads, and senior‑level Electrical Integrators. The role involves basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical cables, circuits, and assemblies.

    This position will interact on a consistent basis with faculty and staff project/task leaders, technical leads, contractors, and vendors. It will advise and counsel these stakeholders and will not supervise any personnel.

    Responsibilities
    • Support program managers, project directors, and task leads with basic electrical assembly work such as cable assembly fabrication, electrical chassis fabrication, and assembly.
    • Assist with basic testing and troubleshooting of circuits and systems.
    • Assist with kitting parts using a Bill of Materials or other online inventory tools.
    • Support other work teams, as needed, with skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, metal work, drafting, parts inventory, and technical documentation.
    • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

    • Technical Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or two years of college coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Required Experience:

    • Up to two years of job‑related experience.

    • IPC‑620
    • J‑STD‑001
    • IPC‑7711
    • IPC‑7721

    Experience with inventory control and management of electrical and mechanical components.

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    Abilities:

    • Experience using crimping tools preferred.

    Knowledge:

    • Basic understanding of AC/DC circuits, and familiarity with basic hand tools.

    Skills:

    • Basic skills in PCB assembly, electrical assembly wiring, and soldering preferred.
