Position SummaryThe Production Worker / Lead supports daily printing and production operations for custom-printed food service packaging. This role may function as a hands-on production team member or provide lead support depending on experience and business needs. Responsibilities include operating printing equipment, maintaining quality standards, packaging finished goods, and assisting with workflow coordination.
Experience in printing operations is a plus, but not required. Candidates with strong production experience and leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities Production & Machine Operation- Set up and operate industrial printing equipment in accordance with order specifications.
- Feed materials onto production lines and monitor output for accuracy and quality.
- Inspect printed products for defects, alignment, and color accuracy.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns as needed.
- Bag, seal, label, and carton finished products.
- Palletize and stretch-wrap completed orders for shipment.
- Verify order details to ensure accurate fulfillment.
- Assist with prioritizing production workflow to meet deadlines.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on equipment and processes.
- Support quality checks and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Communicate production issues or delays to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
- Assist with inventory tagging, staging, and documentation.
- Support cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime and extended shifts when required
Preferred
- Printing, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
- Prior experience operating production machinery
- Leadership or team lead experience
- Familiarity with quality control processes
- Must be flexible to work up to 12-hour shifts during peak production periods.
- Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
