Machine Operator; Shift

Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION Machine Operator/Technician

Entry-level technicians/ Machine Operators are hired as members of a high-performance work team. Technicians are capable of operating several operational systems (several pieces of equipment) that are part of an entire manufacturing, process, or warehousing system.

• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
• Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage’s policies and procedures.
• Capable of performing routine operations with minimum supervision.
• Responsible for operating production lines, keeping production flowing, and meeting performance goals.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of quality that consumers expect from our products. Visually checks to ensure that we are at quality code consistently.
• Responsible for operating basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, grinders, etc.
• Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment. Make minor equipment adjustments and changeovers or setups.
• Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations, demonstrate ownership, confront business-related problems, and continuously improve the equipment and processes.
• Performs basic cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of the equipment they operate.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Performs other duties as assigned (Subject to Change).

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong technical, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• 2 or more years of machine operating experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Forklift Exp. Preferred
