Material Handler

Overview

Starting pay: $22.30 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Overtime as needed.

Full –Time Benefits and Weekly Pay!

Includes a $1,000 sign‑on bonus for new hires, $500 after 90 days of employment and $500 after 180 days

Material Handler in East Point, GA

Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. They are an important team member that helps us meet our strategic goals each and every day. If you are a self-motivated, driven individual, then join our team and become part of our success!

• Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.
• Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.
• Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.
• Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.
• Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.
• Follow detailed instructions and record progress.
• Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.
• Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
