- SMT pick-and-place
- Screen printers
- SPI and AOI systems
- Reflow and selective solder equipment
- Support NPI, first article builds, pilot runs, and production releases
- Define and optimize process parameters for SMT, THT, selective solder, reflow, cleaning, coating, and final assembly
- Partner with Quality Engineering on PFMEAs, control plans, and defect prevention activities
- Review SPI/AOI data and drive process feedback loops to improve yields and reduce defects
- Troubleshoot production issues in real time and lead root cause and corrective actions
- Support ECOs, drawing reviews, and customer requirement flow-down
- Assist with line balancing, cycle time improvement, and capacity optimization
- Support equipment launches, process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in EMS or electronics manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with SMT machine programming and setup
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes from solder paste to final assembly
- Experience creating work instructions, routings, and controlled process documentation
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and manufacturing best practices
- Comfortable being on the manufacturing floor daily, supporting production teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action
- Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments preferred
- Siemens Valor experience is a plus
- Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- No H-1B or other visa sponsorship is available for this role
Rapidly growing EMS company with major investments in SMT, inspection, test, and coating equipment. High-impact role supporting medical, aerospace, defense, and other high-reliability products.
