Dizario Search is currently supporting a search for a Tooling Manager just south of Atlanta, GA. This is a key leadership role within a well-established manufacturing company that specializes in high-precision plastic components. The Tooling Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of injection mold maintenance and planning, ensuring tooling is in top condition to support smooth, on-time production.

• Lead a team responsible for repair, cleaning, and maintenance of injection molds
• Plan and prioritize tooling work based on production schedules and plant needs
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Oversee tool tracking and scheduling using MES and ERP systems
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards in the tooling area
• Identify and implement process improvements related to tooling performance and longevity
• Read and interpret technical drawings to support accurate repairs and modifications

Tooling Manager Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical apprenticeship or training program (Toolmaker or similar trade)
• 3+ years of experience in a tooling leadership role, specifically with injection molds
• Strong knowledge of tool maintenance procedures, repair techniques, and mold design
• Experience managing people and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using MES/ERP systems for planning and scheduling work
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and working hands-on when needed
