General SummaryMajor and established company with a huge majority market share in what they manufacture and a good working culture has an opportunity for a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician on the night shift with a major aspect being hydraulics, pneumatics and valves. The location is southwest suburban Atlanta, GA. There is an attractive hourly rate for this position and an additional $1.00 an hour for it being night shift.
The night shift role is from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am (Monday thru Thursday – 10‑hour days; if work Friday it is paid OT at time‑and‑a‑half). There is also an attractive 401K with matching as well as major company benefits. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property; making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs to the machines and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
Skills
Valve experience involving hydraulics and pneumatics with the ability to troubleshoot, replace, and rebuild valves. Much of this is associated with die‑cast production equipment.
Education / ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Multi craft maintenance technician experience for at least five years
- Troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic logic systems
- Troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Repair of equipment, fixtures, and systems
