Compensation: $160,000 - $195,000 base salary + performance bonus & full benefits
We are a nationally recognized consumer packaged goods (CPG) company specializing in high volume food and beverage production. With a legacy of innovation, operational excellence, and category leading brands, we are expanding our flagship operations in Atlanta, GA
. We're seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility through its next phase of growth, modernization, and continuous improvement.
The Plant Manager will oversee day to day operations at our Atlanta production site, ensuring safe, high quality, and efficient manufacturing. This leader will champion productivity initiatives, foster a strong performance culture, lead cross functional teams, and drive strategic improvements across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 200+ across production, maintenance, quality, and warehousing in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Own full P&L for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance metrics.
- Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure 100% compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF) and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and automation initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and develop leadership talent across all operational functions.
- Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, and Corporate Ops to support new product launches.
- Maintain a world class culture of safety, quality, and employee engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in food, beverage, or high volume CPG manufacturing.
- Proven success managing large scale plant operations with complex, high throughput lines.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Experience with FDA, USDA, and GFSI regulatory requirements.
- Base Salary: $160,000 - $195,000
