Material Handler, 1st Shift, Atlanta GA

Location: 1775A MH Jackson Service Rd Atlanta, GA 30354

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, OT and weekends as needed.

Identification requirements: All applicants will be required to provide one of the following forms of identification as part of their application:
Passport, (2) Birth Certificate, (3) Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or (4) Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).

• Work in warehouse functions such as receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
• Load and unload products to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined criteria (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc.
• May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
