Overview

Receiving position at Fastenal – 6445 Fulton Industrial Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30336. GA100 Distribution Center. Part-time shifts: MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 1:00pm; up to 28 hours/week. This is an entry level position based out of the distribution center. This role may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and performance goals. • Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Unloading product
• Inspecting orders to ensure accuracy of shipment and reporting discrepancies
• Inspecting product for quality and accuracy
• Using a scale for weighing product
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

• Prior experience operating a forklift
