Overview

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Production Worker in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Production Line Workers to join a fast-paced bakery and food production facility in Atlanta, GA. This is a project-based role focused on supporting high-volume production needs.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: 6:30 AM – Finish (Shift duration is variable and requires flexibility to complete daily production quotas.) With a 30 minute lunch break.
  • Location: Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities

The Production Line Worker is responsible for executing tasks efficiently and maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include:

  • Product Handling: Working on the production line, performing tasks such as loading/unloading materials, packaging finished bakery items (e.g., placing product into trays or boxes), and labeling.
  • Quality Control: Visually inspecting products for defects, ensuring items meet quality standards before packaging, and reporting any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
  • Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and organized work station at all times, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing equipment and surfaces in compliance with strict food safety regulations (HACCP/FDA).
  • Teamwork: Supporting team members to ensure the entire line meets daily production goals before the shift concludes.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a food production, warehouse, or fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and available to work the 6:30 AM start time until the daily production run is complete.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures (which may include warm or cool production zones).
