Environmental Sanitor, PM, Bakery - Atlanta

Responsibilities

• disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling production equipment
• applying various chemicals on different equipment as well as in environmental locations
• organizing and cleaning of wash down area, trash dock and storage areas
• maintaining the cleanliness of walls, vents, doors, drains, and garbage cans
• organizing and cleaning of kitchen, trash dock and storage areas
• helping maintain chemical storage areas
• helping with housekeeping duties where needed
• other duties as assigned.

• must be at least 18 years old
• must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• must be mechanically inclined
• must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
• must be able to lift in excess of 50+ pounds frequently
• must be able to work in high areas and confined spaces
• must be able to push or pull heavy equipment
• must be able to work in a wet and slippery environment with temperatures ranging from 65 to 90+ degrees
• must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• must demonstrate safe working habits
• must possess general knowledge of machine operation
• must be able to use creative thinking for trouble-shooting
• must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• must be able to assist other team members in other areas
• must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• must be able to communicate effectively
• must have good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
