Plastipak is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with expertise in Nissei Blow Molding equipment.

As a Nissei Maintenance Technician
, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining Nissei production machines to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You'll also support additional machinery and equipment, including Plastipak's state-of-the-art proprietary technologies.

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Rotation: 3 days on / 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
Pay

We pay for experience. Starting at $30+/hour
, with higher pay based on experience.

What You Will Do
  • Perform maintenance on Nissei manufacturing equipment to support uninterrupted, optimal production.
  • Execute and continuously improve preventive maintenance procedures on Nissei and other production equipment.
  • Participate in machine changeovers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Utilize Plastipak's training programs, certifications, and hands-on experience to grow your career.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience maintaining Nissei or Aoki equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in plastic manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Ownership of standard hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, etc.).
