Cutting Machine Operator

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cutting Machine Operator at our Atlanta Metropolitan Area facility. The role involves operating and maintaining cutting machines, including water-jet and laser equipment, to produce high-quality components. Daily tasks include setting up machines, monitoring operations for accuracy, inspecting finished products, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The operator will also troubleshoot equipment issues and work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.

• Experience with operating and maintaining cutting machinery, such as water-jet cutters and laser equipment
• Proficiency with machine setup, calibration, and operation to ensure precision and efficiency
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting finished products against quality standards
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving equipment or production issues
• Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing or production environment
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machining; familiarity with materials like metals, plastics, and composite materials is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining or a related field is preferred
