Job Title: Vice President of Sales
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Overview: Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for establishing and executing the overall sales strategy, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role will spearhead efforts to achieve revenue targets while maintaining a high standard of customer experience. This division is currently doing 400 homes. Base + bonus compensation will be $250k+.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and increase market share in the Atlanta and surrounding markets.
- Lead, recruit, train, and motivate the sales team, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Analyze and interpret market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with marketing, construction, and design teams to optimize community launches, pricing strategies, product positioning, and incentives.
- Build and maintain relationships with realtors, brokers, and other external partners to drive traffic and close sales.
- Oversee the sales process from initial customer engagement to contract close, ensuring a seamless and positive home buying experience.
- Forecast sales and monitor team and individual performance against KPIs and sales goals.
- Provide regular sales and market updates to executive leadership; recommend and implement adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience in residential construction/homebuilding, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in a production homebuilding environment.
- Deep knowledge of the Atlanta housing market and emerging trends.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in sales CRM software and homebuilding sales systems.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
