Novare Group -- a premier, Atlanta (Buckhead) based multifamily developer is looking for an ASSET MANAGER.

Company Overview

Novare Group -- with our expanding multifamily portfolio across the Southeast--is seeking a Director of Asset Management to play a key leadership role in maximizing the performance and long-term value of its portfolio. Preference is for local candidates.

Position Overview

The Director of Asset Management will have primary responsibility for the financial, operational, and strategic performance of a diverse multifamily portfolio. Based in the firm’s Buckhead office, this role will partner closely with development, property management, finance, and capital markets teams to drive results from lease-up through stabilization and disposition.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong financial acumen, proven leadership experience, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Periodic one day travel to portfolio assets across the Southeast is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of asset-level business plans, including lease-up, stabilization, and ongoing operations, to achieve or exceed investment objectives
  • Select, oversee, and manage third-party property management firms and other critical service providers
  • Analyze property performance through detailed financial, operational, and market-level reporting
  • Review and approve operating and capital budgets, reforecasts, and variance analyses
  • Monitor market rents, asset valuations, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate insurance programs, property tax appeals and payments, and master association requirements
  • Oversee capital projects and restoration initiatives, as needed
  • Provide timely, comprehensive reporting to internal leadership and investment partners
  • Proactively identify issues, develop recommendations, and drive solutions
  • Support acquisition and disposition diligence efforts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in multifamily asset management and budgeting
  • Strong understanding of multifamily markets, trends, and performance drivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies as they relate to multifamily leasing
  • Prior experience in multifamily strongly preferred
