The Transitions Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operational transitions for property acquisitions, dispositions, and new developments. This position provides end-to-end administrative ownership of key integration tasks, serving as the central coordinator for due diligence, data collection, documentation, and communication across internal teams and external partners.

What You'll Do Acquisitions & Dispositions
  • Lead the administrative process for onboarding new properties into the portfolio, including data entry, deliverable collection, and coordination of transition checklists.
  • Oversee offboarding activities for property dispositions, ensuring timely and accurate transfer of records, documents, and assets.
  • Maintain organized and accessible acquisition/disposition files for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Transitions Manager for client and property integration needs.
  • Assist and/or lead transitions to ensure all takeover processes are within company policy and procedure including, but not limited to transition calls, project manager and liaison between support departments, managers, and owners.
  • Act as liaison between client & Peak Made for transition properties, supporting client kickoff and attending regular update calls.
New Developments
  • Coordinate administrative tasks for new property launches as detailed on the New Development Checklist and as directed by the Transitions Manager.
  • Track development milestones and manage documentation related to construction handoff and operational preparedness.
Due Diligence
  • Serve as a point of contact for gathering, reviewing, and organizing due diligence materials.
  • Ensure all required property and operational data is complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track outstanding items and address information gaps.
  • Assist with due diligence report, write-up and delivery.
General Transitions Support
  • Maintain detailed project plans, checklists, and timelines for all property transitions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth integration and handoffs.
  • Monitor progress against deadlines and elevate risks or delays to the Transitions Manager.
  • Maintain integration process documentation and suggest improvements for efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of Company policies & procedures.
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Transition Manager.

This position is reported directly to the Transitions Manager.

Qualifications
  • Candidate must have a successful track record in Property Management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to travel to newly acquired properties and due diligence assignments.
  • This position is a minimum of 50% travel, including air travel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    College degree preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age to be able to meet some car rental requirements.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Must be proficient in Entrata and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule which may include weekends as necessary to fulfill job assignments.
