Position SummaryWe are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for the Director, U.S. Sales—a pivotal role driving Peak’s retail strategy with a focus on accelerating growth across The Home Depot and other key national partners. Based in Atlanta, this role will build and lead a high‑performing sales organization, strengthen customer relationships and ensure flawless execution of Peak’s go‑to‑market strategy across the United States.
This is a strategic leadership role for a collaborative, hands‑on sales leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth- Develop and execute a cohesive U.S. sales strategy aligned with Peak’s growth targets and brand expansion goals.
- Identify new market opportunities, white‑space categories, and regional expansion areas.
- Build strong partnerships with The Home Depot merchants, field leadership, and store teams to drive category growth and brand visibility.
- Analyze sales performance, customer insights, and competitive trends to shape future product and growth strategies.
- Build, coach, and lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and Pro Sales Managers across the U.S.
- Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs that support sustainable growth.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture that mirrors Peak’s people‑first leadership values.
- Lead top‑to‑top meetings, QBRs, and business reviews with key stakeholders.
- Ensure strong in‑store execution, merchandising excellence, and sustained brand presence throughout U.S. retail locations.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Development, and Finance to ensure cohesive execution and alignment.
- Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and territory plans.
- Monitor pricing, programs, and profitability to support category performance.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal discussions related to product development, inventory planning, and program execution.
- 20+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within building materials, home improvement, CPG, or retail partnerships.
- Proven experience leading sales teams in the U.S. market, ideally in Home Improvement.
- Strong understanding of retail programs, merchandising, and category management.
- Demonstrated success leading multi‑state/national, field‑based sales teams (e.g., Regional Sales Managers, Pro Sales Managers) in a distributed environment.
- Proven experience managing strategic relationships with major big‑box or home improvement retailers (e.g., national accounts, merchant teams, SSC), including line reviews, business reviews, and joint business planning.
- Experience developing and executing programs to grow Pro / contractor / trade business through both in‑store and account management channels.
- Strong background in building and executing territory plans, annual sales forecasts, and sales budgets, and adjusting plans based on performance and market insights.
- Experience launching and supporting new products at retail, including in‑store execution, merchandising, and promotional programs.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into action.
