Job Summary

Responsible for providing 24/7 leadership in the OCC overseeing a team of approximately 40 Coordinators on the Operations Travel Desk supporting Delta's hotel and transportation needs for crew members globally. The role will handle operational and tactical contract management functions, serving as Manager on Duty during weekends, holidays, and evenings. The role will support Delta's operation by ensuring crews have safe, clean, comfortable, and adequate accommodations and transportation around the globe.

Job Duties
  • Leading a team of OTD coordinators booking accommodation and transportation needs for all ad hoc, charter, irregular operations (IROP), and special operations crew needs – including utilization of the Hotel and Transportation System (HTS) and other platforms used for sourcing.
  • Effectively balances performance of the operation with efficient deployment of company resources in a fast‑paced and time‑sensitive environment.
  • Continuously developing OTD Coordinators by improving their performance to facilitate career growth.
  • Working cross‑functionally with Corporate Travel Services (CTS), In‑Flight Service (IFS), and Flight Operations (FOPs) stakeholders as directed by leadership to manage all changes, ensuring approved hotel inventory availability as well as working with non‑contracted vendors for additional availability.
  • Ensuring timely communication across OCC and Flight Operations verticals, especially with Crew Resources, Charters, and various CTS, IFS, & FOPs stakeholders.
  • Optimizing Delta's hotel blocks to minimize spoilage and drive year‑over‑year rate and tax savings utilizing various sourcing tools and direct connect technology.
  • Supporting virtual credit card payment solution process related to variance and ad‑hoc hotel and transportation procurement.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service by promptly addressing all crew (including FCR & FACTS) and supplier reports.
  • Analyzing and delegating workload and work assignments to Coordinators.
  • Representing OTD in various meetings/briefings.
  • Building strong working relationships with coworkers, direct reports, customers (internal and external), partners and company leadership.
  • Providing support in the planning and implementation of operational strategies and seeking continual operational improvements and efficiencies.
  • Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
  • Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to manage change successfully in a fast‑paced environment.
