We are partnered with one of the GCs in the Southeast, and due to continued winning of new projects, they'relooking to add a Safety Manager to their Atlanta team!
The ideal candidate must have experience working dirrectly for a Commercial GC (no 3rd party Safety firms).
The Safety Manager is responsible for the following:- Management, coordination and successful completion of safety requirements on their assigned project for all staff and subcontractors
- Lead onsite orientation training programs
- Perform weekly safety inspections on the jobsite
Qualifications:
- (4) year safety/health related degree, minimum (5) years related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- OSHA 500 preferred - certification must be current & within the last (4) years.
- Previous experience administering Safety Training, Risk Analysis, Incident Investigations, Root Cause Analysis, OSHA related issues & Inspections.
